State of the Shelter

How many ferrets in your shelter? 67

Yes, you read right. 67. We are out of cages, out of space. Right now I have to make a list to see who is on the web page and who is not.

5 were abandoned in a park on the east side, one needs surgery to remove a huge tumor. 12 need surgery.

From June 25 through July 18, we have had $2800 in vet bills. (My son loaned me $2500 so I can keep going to the vet)

It is raining ferrets here and everywhere. It is raining animals at all shelters.

Now more than ever your local shelter needs your help, finacially, or just volunteer 3 or 4 hours a month.

Volunteers are needed in all shelters, won't you spare a few hours a month? If every shelter on the FML had enough volunteers for major cleaning 3 times a week, think of what shelter mom and dad could get done. 3 or 4 hours a month. Once a week would be wonderful.

Please help.
