Thank you for making my day. Just the fact that you are going to get involved with your local shelter, gives me hope that maybe, just maybe people get what I say when I try to tell them how important getting involved with shelters are. No shelter can function without help and support. Thank you.
Jarris, no I do not struggle with choosing. I rehab the older kids, the unwanted, and the sick, and I find them homes, as well as finding homes with the kids that come in well adjusted and healthy.
You see, to me there is no choice. Each and everyone of them deserves a chance at a new life, a happy life. The shelter's whole purpose is to try to give them all that opportunity. The opportunity to find a new family, and happy home.
Items I own that are sold are just that, items. Yes, I like them, or I wouldn't have bought some of them, but it is the right thing for me to do.
This has been a week of wonders for me. Thank you all.

It broke my heart to read about you auctioning your things to help fuzzies. In this very real world where choices must be made, I wonder if you struggle with choosing to rehab older sick ferrets versus focusing on finding homes for the likely adoptees. I will be praying for you and you have inspired me to get involved with a local shelter.
