Please vote for us. I just went through all of our hammocks, you know the ones that are folded so there is a nice hiding spot to sleep in? Well, most of them are thread bare. Very embarassing, but we do use our bedding till it can't be used no more!!

Ferret Freedom Festival - Come One Come All!!

Time: Noon to 7 PM
Social gathering of ferret and non-ferret owners. Clubs and folks with ferret wares for sale. Food, fun, and frolic.
Sorry, no pets allowed at this event, social gathering and educational event

There will be fun and food, and hopefully music, and goodies for all. Come on downplease help spread the word, feel free to cross post!! it is fast aproaching!!

Plan to attend Ferrets Unlimited Ferret Freedom Festival, at the American Legion Hall, located at: 4910 Memphis Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio. Only a hop, skip and a jump away from the shelter, and we will be running back and for those who have adoption applications on filled out on file, and those who need a “fuzzy” fix.

No, it is not a show, but a chance to socialize with other ferret owners. Maybe someone else has come up with a solution to one of your fur angel's bad habits.

Unfortunately, ferrets are not allowed at this hall, it was chosen because of the cost, and the proximity to the shelter. However, we will have a “Cutest Ferret” Photo Contest, food, raffles, auctions, shopping and more!

Come one come all, got ferret wares? Set up a table, just let me know you’ll be here. Charge? Just make a small donation. Items don’t necessarily need to be ferret, remember we are trying to encourage non ferret folk to learn, so you can sell almost anything.

Clubs, want to send a rep for your group? Same deal!!

Spread the word. If this is successful, there may be a show in 2006!!!

There is also a Ferret Show Name and Logo contest. Submissions should be sent to: Ferrets Unlimited Ferret Shelter, 4116 Bucyrus Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44109.

Remember, Cleveland is the home of Rock and Roll, and the museum, so pull that into the name and logo.

Entry fee is $1.00 per entry, enter as many times as you like. First prize will be $100 (donated by a local artist group), and seeing your work on T-shirts, ribbons, letterhead and anything else we need it on for the show, as long as we have enough people to help organize a show. All entries become the property of Ferrets Unlimited and may be used at our discretion for fund raising. (Legal beagle stuff)
