We need your help

I know I have said this before, but the shelter cannot survive without you. It cannot survive without volunteers, it cannot survive without donations, the shelter cannot survive without you.

Donations have been at an all time low, surrenders are up, our vet costs will rival last years, food costs are going up, gas has gone up, utilities are up, space for the humans has shrunk, the shelter van is finished, the brakes on the station wagon went (literally lines blew while I was driving. thank goodness I had the presence of mind to choose to put the wheel over a barricade rather than hit a pole or another car).

I know this has been all said before, but it hasn't changed, there are more and more surrenders.

Please help, volunteer, if you cannot volunteer to help, help organize a fund raiser beginning to end, own the project. If you cannot do that show people how great ferrets are as pets, and be honest about their bad habits. When a person is told only the good, and not some of the other little annoying things they do, it only adds to the shelter population. If you cannot do that, then donate, even if it is only a dollar. A dollar can help.
