Shelter Dreams
Ok, this is where we dream. This is a list of things the
shelter needs in order to be more useful and helpful to the public.
Keep in mind, they are dreams, and that is why we need the
help to raise funds for them.
Volunteers - you can never have too many
Homes - for ALL the shelter kids
Building - large enough for several play groups, a
store, a meeting place, and lots of ferrets. Somewhere people can come to
for information, and find out they aren't the only people in the world with
ferrets.
Mechanical work for our mini van - Currently the
shelter owns a 1991 Chevy Lumina APV, it has 230,000 miles on it. It is a
great van, and we have been doing the up keep ourselves (brakes, oil changes,
tune ups). I think it needs work beyond what we are capable of doing, and
to be honest, funding.
A vet that makes house calls, reasonable and can handle
reactions to distemper vaccines We do our own distemper vaccinations, and recently had 6
reactions, from mild to severe
Rabies vaccinations for all the kids
